This industrial-grade USB to RS485 Bidirectional Converter features embedded protection circuits, including a lightningproof tube, resettable fuse, ESD and TVS protection circuits, providing better stability and compatibility. It supports bidirectional conversion from USB to RS485, enabling fast, stable, and reliable communication with enhanced compatibility.

Onboard TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) effectively suppresses surge voltage and transient spike voltage in the circuit, ensuring lightningproof and anti-electrostatic performance. Additionally, the device is equipped with a resettable fuse and protection diodes, which ensure stable current and voltage outputs, while providing over-current and over-voltage protection, thus improving shock-proof performance.

The USB to RS485 converter supports a wide range of operating systems, including Linux, Android, WinCE, Win11/10/8.1/8/7/XP, and more. It has a USB-A host port and an RS485 device port, with a baudrate range of 300bps to 3Mbps.

For the USB interface, the operating voltage is 5V, and it is equipped with a 200mA self-recovery fuse and ESD protection, with a transmission distance of approximately 5 meters. The RS485 interface features a screw terminal connector with A+, B-, and GND pins, and it supports hardware-automatic direction control. The device is equipped with three LED indicators: a red power indicator (PWR) that lights up when there is a USB connection and voltage is detected, a red TX indicator that lights up when the USB port sends data, and a red RX indicator that lights up when the device ports send data back.

The operating environment for this USB to RS485 converter supports a temperature range of -15°C to 70°C and a humidity range of 5%RH to 95%RH.
