Shop / waveshare electronic adapter
The USB To CAN Adapter Model A, powered by an STM32 chip solution, offers multiple working modes and is compatible with a variety of systems. Key features include:
Supports CAN2.0A (standard frame) and CAN2.0B (extended frame), with a configurable CAN baud rate range of 5Kbps-1Mbps. Adopts a stable and reliable STM32 chip solution, with onboard TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) to effectively suppress surge and transient spike voltage in the circuit.
Offers 4 working modes: normal mode, loopback mode, silent mode, and silent loopback mode. Supports multiple CAN data sending modes, including single frame, multiple frames, manual, regular, and cyclic sending. Allows configuring the receiver to only accept data from a certain ID or automatically respond with pre-set data.
Provides CAN bus detection for status checking, and the ability to send/receive CAN data with time scale for sequential display. The USB virtual COM port baud rate is configurable from 9600 to 2000000bps (default 2000000bps).
Working parameters can be set via configuration software or serial command, and saved after power off. Supports Windows XP/7/8/10/11 and Linux systems like Raspberry Pi OS and Ubuntu under Jetson Nano, with options for secondary development.
Included in the package are the USB-CAN-A adapter, a 1.5m USB cable, and a screwdriver, allowing users to easily collect data from the CAN bus and transfer it to a PC for transceiver control, data analysis, acquisition, and CAN bus network monitoring.
