Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.69inch Touch Display Development Board

The ESP32-S3R8 Xtensa 32-bit LX7 dual-core processor, with a main frequency of up to 240MHz, powers this versatile device. It supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 5 (LE), with an onboard antenna for seamless connectivity.

With 512KB of SRAM and 384KB of ROM, along with an onboard 8MB PSRAM and an external 16MB Flash memory, this device offers ample storage and processing capabilities. The Type-C connector ensures it stays up-to-date and easier to use.

The device features a 1.69-inch 240×280 pixels 262K capacitive touch display, providing clear and vibrant color pictures. The onboard ST7789V2 display driver and CST816T capacitive touch chip, utilizing SPI and I2C communication respectively, effectively optimize the IO resources.

For motion detection and step counting, the device is equipped with the QMI8658 6-axis IMU (3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope). Additionally, the onboard PCF85063 RTC chip, with a reserved SH1.0 RTC battery header (supporting charging), ensures reliable real-time clock functionality.

The device offers reserved pads for 4 × GPIO, I2C, and UART interfaces, enabling the connection of various peripherals and streamlining the debugging process. It also supports flexible clock settings, independent module power supply, and other controls, allowing for low-power consumption in different scenarios.

The high touch screen transmittance, fast response, and long lifetime of the display contribute to an enhanced user experience.
