Introduction

RP2040-One is a compact development board featuring the RP2040 microcontroller by Raspberry Pi. Its onboard PCB USB-A connector enables instant plug-and-play functionality. With a mini form factor and 29 GPIO pins that offer multi-functionality (20 via edge pinout and the remainder via solder points), RP2040-One incorporates a castellated design along the PCB edge, facilitating easy and rapid integration into various projects.

Features

RP2040-One is powered by the RP2040 microcontroller chip, designed by Raspberry Pi in the UK. It boasts a dual-core Arm Cortex M0+ processor capable of flexible clock speeds up to 133 MHz. The board includes 264KB of SRAM and 4MB of onboard Flash memory. Its castellated module design allows for direct soldering onto carrier boards, enhancing its versatility.

The USB interface supports version 1.1 with both device and host functionalities. RP2040-One features low-power sleep and dormant modes, optimizing energy efficiency. It supports drag-and-drop programming via USB mass storage, simplifying the development process.

In terms of I/O capabilities, RP2040-One offers 29 multi-function GPIO pins (20 accessible via edge pinout and others via solder points). It includes 2 SPI, 2 I2C, and 2 UART interfaces, along with 4 12-bit ADC channels and 16 controllable PWM channels. On-chip, there is an accurate clock and timer, a temperature sensor, and accelerated floating-point libraries. Additionally, 8 Programmable I/O (PIO) state machines provide support for custom peripherals.
