Waveshare RP2040-Zero Pico-Like MCU Board

The RP2040 microcontroller chip, designed by Raspberry Pi in the United Kingdom, is the heart of this development board. It features a dual-core Arm Cortex M0+ processor with a flexible clock running up to 133 MHz. The board has 264KB of SRAM and 2MB of on-board Flash memory, providing ample storage and processing power.

The USB-C connector keeps the board up-to-date and easier to use. The castellated module design allows for direct soldering to carrier boards, adding flexibility to your projects. The board supports USB 1.1 with both device and host capabilities, and offers low-power sleep and dormant modes for efficient power management.

Programming is made simple with the drag-and-drop feature, which utilizes mass storage over USB. The board offers 29 multi-function GPIO pins, 20 of which are accessible via the edge pinout, with the remaining 9 available through solder points. These pins support a variety of interfaces, including 2 × SPI, 2 × I2C, 2 × UART, 4 × 12-bit ADC, and 16 × controllable PWM channels.

Accurate clock and timer functions, as well as a temperature sensor, are integrated on-chip. The board also features accelerated floating-point libraries and 8 × Programmable I/O (PIO) state machines for custom peripheral support, making it a versatile platform for a wide range of applications.

The board is available in multiple variants, including the Original with case, Mini, LCD, Plus, and Mini-2, catering to different user needs and preferences. Each version offers a unique set of features and specifications, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your project requirements.
